Wildcat robot, Cheetah, Catbot : Wild and Pet Cat Robots

We already know that cats are famous for their balance in their walk, from the cat that can be founded in your home to fast Tigers every cat species is known for their balance while walking or while running behind the animals to whom they want to make their food, now by taking inspiration from the cat scientist of different organizations are developing robots that actually behave and run like a typical cat or wild cat, here are few examples and prototypes of them, these Robots are extremely excellent in terms of technology, as how they take turns and how they moves their legs i have also included the videos of all the three types of robots so that you can enjoy their walk or run.

                                                                      Wildcat Robot  

          First of all I have to mention there are many differences between a home cat and a wild cat, wild cat runs faster, it’s a predator more over it’s fearless, it doesn’t says mew but it’s roar can cause many of us a heart attack, the Wild Cat robot which has four legs and well structured body has been designed for running, yes it can’t run as fast as the real wild cat but I have to tell you  it can gallop 25 kmph now the question is what was the reason behind developing such a robot. The Wild Cat robot is developed by Boston Dynamics, it's a company which is passionate about developing robots based on nature, there is also a small brother of this which is not developed by Boston dynamics but some Swiss laboratory called as CatBot or Cheetah-cub Robot, Wildcat robot has been developed in the M3(Maximum Mobility and Manipulation) Programme of DARPA(US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency).

                                                                     These Robots can be utilized in military operations for finding,  and spying in future, after all it’s not better then it’s previous version Cheetah which runs on 29 mph.

 

                                                                    Cheetah Robot

                                                                  Cheetah Robot was also developed by DARPA M3 but it runs faster than WildCat which is the next version of Cheetah Robots, but the differences are - Cheetah increases it’s speed at every step according to the need, just like the real tiger does, But it is inside laboratory at this time it can’t run by own, it runs with the help of off-board hydraulic pump and to keep itself in the center it uses boom-like device, it also has similar body it has four legs and can be used in future military operations by army but it's still in development, so we have to wait for the final results.

 

                                                        Cheetah–cub Robot or Cat Bot

                                                     Unlike it’s big brothers it is not the product of DARPA or Boston Dynamics, because it has been developed in Switzerland by some Swiss scientists, it has been developed in the laboratories of  École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne  , it is just like the small cute cats wandering in your home these can be utilized in spying also because of their small size, no it can’t run as fast as it’s big brother Cheetah but it can run as fast as their siblings real cats, it can be used if you want to look after what your kids or wife are doing in your absence but hey for that it must be in the market right?
