Birth of Animation: 70 BC ,16 th century ,1500 with the inventions of flipbooks . these are the books with image created on every page when you flip it you can see the animation ,means the subject in image is moving and looking as if it is alive. this is the concept of the animation.
Types of Animation by view:
2d Animation: when every object in the image is looking with only x and y coordinates , means it looks only in x-y directions ,it is limited to it . it draws the illusion as if the character in the page is actually moving as that page is showing over your television with a background. these are of two types-

- Cel Animation: In which a background is made by generally a seniour animator and the internal objects are to be made by juniour animators ,this is the traditional form of animation ,that was mostly featured on television in 80s or 70s.they use clear acetate sheets to create backgrounds and then apply it with the frontside animations.
- Computer Generated Animation: In this type of animation CGIs (computer genetrated images ) are used to create the illusion and the magic of the animation, it was very easy to use computer generated animation in the films rather then traditional cel animation.
- Clay Animation: It was first invented in United States as early as 1908, when Edison Manufacturing released a trick film entitled The Sculptor's Welsh Rarebit Dream. In this type of Animation they just put a puppet/puppets of clay and they move it after taking every shot and atlast they make a film by joining all the snaps. In one method they just make a background on the clear glass and put it in front of the puppet to provide it a background. You can actually see the puppet through the glass.
- Computer Generated 3d Animation: Softwares like Blender,Autodesk 3ds Max,Autodesk Softimage,Autodesk Maya,Cinema 4D,Bryce (software),DAZ Studio are used to make the dramatic and beautiful illusion of computer generated 3d Animation.
- Motion Capture Technology: This is used due to the ease of making and making complex on the go animation ,in this creator of animation wear sensors through on their bodies and face and a digital puppet on computer mapped with them and as they move the animation is generated automatically.
